Poznan marathon: Lydia Simiyu disqualified for positive doping test

Reigning Cape Town marathon champion Lydia Naliaka Simiyu has been dropped from the winners list for doping agents.

Simiyu, who finished second at the Poznan half marathon in women’s race, the test showed some doping agants hence dropped.

The test results of sample A of the competitor occupying the 2nd place in the general category of women in the 14th PKO Poznań Half Marathon showed the presence of doping agents.
Kenya Simiyu Lydia withdrew from testing sample B. Thus, she was disqualified.
