Police extend winning ways against USIU-A in Kenya Hockey premier league

Newly crowned the champions of Gold Cup Clubs Invitational Tournament, Kenya Police extended their winning ways by beating USIU- A at the Kenya Hokey Union League played today at the City park stadium.

The law enforcers, who beat Ghana’s Exchequers on Thursday were 1-0 winners with the solitary scored netted by Titus Kimutai in the 47th minute.

This was their third time loss in a row with 3-2 and 4-1 during the invitational preliminary rounds with Police coach Patrick Mugambi happy with the results.

In the women’s Premier League, Lakers registered a barren draw against Amira Sailors.

In super league men, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) were 1-0 winners over Nakuru with Paul Barasa netting the all-important goal.
