Homeboyz, Wazito win as Tusker draw

Kakamega Homeboyz continued with their superlative performance to beat KCB in today’s Kenya Premier League match played at the Bukhungu stadium today.

The leaders were 2-1 winners against the bankers to give coach Bernard Mwalala a new life and reprieve, taking a comfortable three-point lead.

Yema Mwana scored first in the 16th minute before Michael Karamor sealed the victory in 81st minute.

The win has put Homeboyz to 59 points ahead of second placed and champions Tusker who played to a barren draw against Nairobi City Stars at Ruaraka Grounds in Nairobi.

At Sudi Stadium in Bungoma, Wazito claimed a 1-0 win over hosts Nzoia Sugar to boost their chances of survival with Amos Asembeka’s 32nd-minute goal making all the difference.
