Harambee Starlets technical bench has recalled Esse Akida back into the squad ahead of Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifiers against Uganda.
Akida was recalled after she was left out of the team that played against She-Polopolo of Zambia where the Starlets won 3-0.
The Spedag striker will join the national team together with goalkeepers Brenda Achieng (Gaspo) Monica Karambu (of Thika Queens, defenders are Elizabeth Amboko and Juliet Auma from Thika Queens.
Akida who was dropped from Zambia journey has fully recovered from an ankle injury and will be joined by Nyakach Girls student Mercy Airo.
