Firat confident to triumph against Cameroon at AFCON qualifiers

Harambee Stars, the national men’s soccer team head coach Engin Firat is confident that Kenya will triumoh against Cameroon at tomorrow’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers that will be staged tomorrow in Douala, Cameroon.

With both teams already accumulated 4 points, pool J, they will face off in a double header, and after Douala, Kenya will be hosting their match in Kampala, Uganda.

With injuries affecting his team selection during the last international break, Firat hopes that this is a ghost of the past and will have his full ammunition during this international break and beyond.

Captain Olunga missed the last round of qualifiers due to injury and is in line to leading again from the front against Cameroon.

Firat is now unbeaten in the last seven matches as the Harambee Stars coach and hopes that the double header against Cameroon will earn his side maximum points as they aim at qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 2019.
