Reigning Olympic Games 3,000m steeplechase bronze medalist Faith Cherotich will be leading other eleven Kenyans at the Doha Diamond League set for Saturday Friday May 16th in Doha, Qatar.
Cherotich, the 3,000m steeplechase world bronze medalist will be the only Kenyan in the 3,000m steeplechase women.
She will be alongside former Olympic 800m silver medalist and world champion Wycliffe Kinyamal, Aaron kemei Cheminingwa and Laban Korir Chepkwony in the 800m men
Kinyamal is the former Commonwealth Games 800m champion will start the Diamond League series this season alongside the reigning Africa Games 800m champion Cheminingwa and upstart Korir who was third at the Botswana Golden Grand Prix in 800m.
Kenyans at Doha Diamond League
- 800m men: Wycliffe Kinyamal, Aaron Kemei Cheminingwa and Laban Kipkorir Chepkwony
- 5,000m men: Reynold Cheruiyot, Cornelius Kemboi, Boaz Kipkurgut and Edwin Kurgat
- 1,500m women: Winny Chepchirchir, Susan Lokayo Ejore and Teresia Muthoni Gateri
- 3,000m steeplechase women: Faith Cherotich.
