Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has suspended Judy Jelagat Kemboi for violating anti-doping rules when she tested positive for Hydrochlorothiazide.
The drug is normally used by unscrupulous athletes to aid rapid weight loss and hide other performance enhancing substances.
Today, the anti-doping watchdog, in a statement said that she is provisionally suspended after testing positive.
At 26, Jelagat was second at Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), clocking 1:06:34, followed by victory at Guadalajara Half Marathon 1:07:45 before coming 4th at Yangzhou Half Marathon then third at the Istanbul Half Marathon in 1:07:47.
