Akidor lead Omare and Kipkemoi to sweep Sanyo Ladies half marathon

Kenya’s Margaret Akidor won the Sanyo Ladies half marathon held yesterday in Japan.

Akidor led compatriot Dolphin Nyaboke Omare to second and Joanne Kipkemoi completing the podium in an all Kenyan affair.

She won in 69:21 followed by Omare’s 69:47 and Kipkemoi completing the podium at 70:01.

Ethiopians Desta Burka was 4^th and Japanese Yuri Karasawa was 5^th positions respectively at 70:16 and 70:48.
