Athletics Kenya has begun the journey to register various athletics personnel starting from next month.
In a statement from Riadha House, the federation said that they want to have records of various training camps in the country, medical staff, coaches and any other athlete support staff.
In a two months exercise, South Rift Region will be the first stop from August 12th to 16th and will come to an end between November 3rd to 7th at Central Rift after covering all regions and affiliates.
After South Rift, the registration process will head to Kenya Defence Forces, Kenya Police Service, Kenya Prisons Service between August 18th to 22nd, Nairobi (August 18β22), Central region (August 25β29), North Eastern (1-5 September), Eastern (September 8-12), Southern (September 15-19), Coast (September 22-26), Nyanza South (October 6-10), Nyanza North (October 13-17), Western (October 20-24), North Rift (October 27-31), Central Rift (November 3-7).

Coaches must submit a coaching certificate and a Police Clearance Certificate. Medical staff must present their professional license and a Police Clearance Certificate. All other ASP members, such as camp administrators, need to submit relevant certifications in their respective fields and a Police Clearance Certificate,β they said.
The federation has also directed that all foreign nationals, regardless of role, must present a valid work permit.
