The postponed World Safari Rally championships in Kenya has attracted Torism Cabinet Secrtary Najib Balala who toured the service park in Naivasha.
The rally, which were to be held in July had been postponed to next year following the coronavirus that has rocked the sporting world.
Balala expressed satisfaction at the progress in its construction of the service park located within the Kenya Wildlife Service Training Institute.
“We will have a state-of-the-art pavilion around where the servicing of rally cars will take place,” said Balala.
He was optimistic that the ground will be ready in time for the rescheduled 2021 rally which will help raise Kenya’s profile on the global map.
