Former National Rally champion Baldev Charger won the 6th round of the Kenya National Rally Championship (KNRC) that came to an end today in Kilifi County.
Charger popularly called Flying Sigh, ended his winless formula beat three time series winner Carl ‘Flush’ Tundo.
Despite finishing third in Kilifi, Tundo still enjoys top of the table with 118 points.
Navigated by Ravi Soni, Charger collected 96 to come in second position of the series.
Onkar Rai on 79 points in the table was second in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X as ace Tundo settled for third navigated by Tim Jessop.
Home driver Izhar Mirza won the Johnny Hellier Memorial trophy as the best placed coast driver in fifth spot.
The next event moves to Nanyuki next month.
