Eldoret professional golfer Boniface Simwa and Captain Moses Tanui will lead a host of other golfers on Saturday’s Barclays Bank golf day on nine hole Eldoret golf club.
Simwa, who missed the Ugandan Open because of golf clinic said he was ready to face off with other top ranking golfers as he expects to record good results.
“As a golfer I expect good results on Saturday and at the same time give a golfing clinic later in the evening to golfers,” said Simwa who plays alongside his brother Nelson Simwa.
Playing on home course, Simwa will tee off with Western Kenya Golf Union Representative Andrew Chelogoi, Laban Omanga and P. Obath at 12:30pm.
Tanui said the preparations are on top gear for a large turnout of golfers on the course.
“We are expecting many golfers since barlclays has a name in golf following the annual sponsorship of Kenya Open,” said Tanui who was sharpening his golf skills training on Thursday evening.
