After banning Mumias Complex from hosting Kenya Premier League (KPL) matches, KPL management has banned the use of historical Camp Toyoyo, Ruaraka and Thika Sports grounds.
Camp Toyoyo grounds in Jericho estate, which has produced world footballers, Ruaraka grounds owned by East Africa Breweries Limited (EABL) and also Tusker’s training grounds, Thika Sub-county stadium, Mumias Sports Complex and Chemelil Sports Complex have also been blacklisted.
According to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Stadia Safety and Security Committee, the grounds will not host any matches until recommendations made for their facelift are met to their satisfaction.
