The Par 73 Kitale Golf Club will be busy this Saturday with home golfers taking on the tee for the captain’s prize.
After hosting a successful Kerkeng Enterprise last weekend, Captain Shiyuka will be hosting the captain’s prize this Saturday.
The one day event will see majority of home golfers taking to the greens as two golfers battle out for the coveted post in the club.
Patrice Tomon and Michael Kimutai will battle out for the captain’s post after the event and then have an Annual General Meeting where between the two, one of them will be elected the captain of the 18 hole golf course.
Kimutai resigned last year at the middle of his term and Shiyuka took over for the remainder. He wants to come back for the same post while Tomno is a new comer in the club’s top management.
“We are going to square out and see who becomes the captain. We respect each other and we hope all will be well,” said Tomno.
