Boxer Maina is dead

Former bantamweight Commonwealth bronze medalist Douglas Maina is dead. The Kenya boxing fraternity is today mourning the death of an icon who won the 1978 bronze and founder of Bangladesh Boxing Club. Maina, known for his snapping deadly right punch, won bronze medals in bantamweight at the 1978 African Games in Algiers and Edmonton Games.
