Former Standard Chartered Bank Nairobi marathon champion Celestine Chepchirchir will be returning to Vienna marathon next weekend with a mission.
The Nandi based runner will be marshalling Kenyan forces with Risper Chebet, and Rebecca Kangogo in a race set for 12th September.
The Ethiopian who won the 2006 world cross country title is also credited with the 2015 World 10,000m silver medal has the personal best of 2:20.45 with Chepchirchir having 2:24.48 with Chebet holding a personal best of 2:23.45 set during the 2021 Milan marathon.
