Nairobi City Stars, Bidco United and Posta Rangers won their respective matches in today’s FKF Premier League matches.
But newbies Kenya Police had to hold speedy Gor Mahia in another match.
David Gateri scored a solitary goal that guided Bidco to beat 2008 champions Mathare United in a match played at the Kasarani Annex.
The win was the first one Bidco in the new season to move to the 11th position as Mathatre recorded their 4th loss in the league.
City Stars were the biggest winners in the league with 4-0 beating of newbies Vihiga Bullets at the Ruaraka Grounds while Posta Rangers were 3-0 winners over Nzoia Sugar at the Sudi stadium.
Salim Abdalla scored first in the 10th minute followed by Ezekiel Odera’s 62nd goal, captain Antony Kimani added the second in the 68th minute and Vincent Otieno (72nd)all on target for the City Stars.
At the Kasarani, Clifton Miheso secured a point for Kenya Police against former champions Gor Mahia in a one-all draw.
After Boniface Omondi had scored for Gor Mahia, their former player Miheso scored in the 62nd minute to earn a point.
