Domongole and Jerotich win Tinderet Mountain running titles

Fredrick Domongole and Sharon Jerotich were the winners of the third edition of Tinderet Barngetuny Mountain Run national championships held today in Tinderet, Nandi County.

The West Pokot based Domongole won the 12km men’s race in 51:48.80 beating the defending champion and World Mountain and terrain champion Patrick Kipngeno to second at 54:21.90 and Richard Ayuya completing the podium in 55:00.6.

Jerotich won the women title in 76:57 ahead of Hellen Jepkorir (77:05) and Marion Chepkoech in 77:19.
