Equity, KU, Ulinzi and NCPB shine at Handball Federation league

Equity Bank stunned Engineers to take the lead at the top of the Kenya Handball Federation (KHF)  league.

The bankers won 28-19 in a match played at Nyayo Stadium today to amass 30 points for the Peter Mwathi coached side.

Engineers tactician Albert Mukoya said his boys displayed a good game but were unlucky to lose. Nelson Wanjala led with four goals. ” 

Buccaneers lost to Kenyatta University 41-27.

In the women’s category, Ulinzi Sharks blanked KU 28-17 behind 12 goals from Sharon Mulei and five a piece from Caren Lutengeya and Dorothy Machuma.

In other matches, champions National Cereals and Produce and Board dismissed Nanyuki 41-24 as KU beat National Youth Service 31-27.
