Kenya’s harambee Stars failed to shine at home, falling to the visiting The Gambia’s Scorpions in today’s FIFA World Cup qualifying match played at the Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
The Benni McCarthy coached side lost 1-3 to the Gambian’s in a one sided match to terminate Stars journey to the USA next year.
Sheriff Sinyan scored first for the visitors in the 12th minute before Yankuba Minteh doubled in the 2th minute while Musa Barrow sealed a 0-3 win in the 38th minute as Kenya’s Ryan Weslely Ogam scored a consolation in the 81st minute.
