Former Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) champions set up a sweet revenged against FKF Women Cup champions in today’s match played at the Ruaraka Grounds.
It was a big win for Gaspo Women who beat Kayole Starlets 5-0 to go top of the table and newcomers Bunyore Starlets recovered from 6-0 in the opening fixtures to register 2-1 win over reigning champions Thika Queens.
Back at Ruaraka, Tereza Engesha bagged a brace in the 11th and 54th minutes as Boniface Nyamunyamu coached side Vihiga defeated Ulinzi Starlets 2-0, which was the revenge after Starlets beat Queens 2-1 to lift the Women Cup title
