Gusii FC ended the unbeaten run for former Kenya Premier League side Shabana FC in today’s National Super league match played at the Gusii stadium.
The giant killers Gusii won by a solitary goal against league leaders and it was the second time they are beating top teams.
After beating and ending unbeaten run against Kibera Black Stars 1-0, today, they managed to beat their counterparts in a Kisii derby 1-0with Cyrus Oyondi scoring the goal in the 80th minute.
With the victory, Gusii moved to third with 21 points while Shabana still leads with 25 points as Kibera remains second on 23.
In other matches, Kibera beat Migori Youth 2-0 as Vihiga United thrashed SS Assad 5-1.
Mwatate United won 3-2 at home against Kajiado with Naivas playing to a draw against Kisumu All Stars.
