Gor, Tusker, Shabana, Mathare draw as Police extend KPL lead

It was an all draw in today’s Kenya Premier League football matches played across the country.

With only two matches played, Champions Gor Mahia and former champions Tusker played to a barren draw at the Machakos Stadium while Shabana was held to a 0-0 draw with former champions Mathare United.

Tusker, who were second on the table after leaders Kenya Police, remains second with 39 points, two lower than Police who beat Bidco United 2-0 yesterday.

A win for Tusker could have led to level points with Police after all teams played 21 matches.

Third placed Gor with 35 points have played 20 matches, one less tha the top two, Tusker and Police.

At the packed Gusii Stadium, Shabana failed to shine at home with a 0-0 draw with the visiting Mathare United.

With the draw, Shabana lies eighth with 29 points from 21 games while Mathare moved to 14th on the table on 22 points.
