As world javelin defending champion Julius Yego qualifies.
Wambui won in the last heat after Emily Cherotich Tuwei missed a chance to compete in the next event when she finished 6th in 2:07.70.
The Olympic 800m bronze won the race in 2:00.75 to gain automatic qualifier
