Former Kenya Cup side Kisii RFC will be returning to KRU Championships, the second tier rugby 15s league following their win against Administration Police Warriors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In today\u2019s final play-off match at Kisii High School, Kisii were 13-06 winners over Police to return to the league after five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The promotion comes as redemption for Kisii RFC, who fell short at this stage in the 2023\/24 season following elimination by Zetech University, the side that eventually earned promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kisii RFC now return to the second tier for the first time since the 2019\/20 season, a turbulent campaign marked by several walkovers that led to their relegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
