Isaac Makokha crowned Manchester Salver champion in Eldoret

The reigning Deaflympics golf bronze medalist Isaac Makokha was crowned the Manchester Salver Champion, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) Series played at the par 71 Eldoret Golf club.

As part of his training ahead of the Deaflympic Games set for this week in Tokyo, Japan, Makokha fired a total of five over par 218 for the title, edging out Elvis Muigua and Raphael Liming’ani to second and third with six over 219 and seven over respectively.

In the three day tournament, Makokha rolled in +2 73 followed by +3 on Saturday and a level 71 for the title.
