Former world half marathon record holder Peres Jepchirchir broke the women’s only world half marathon when she won the RunCzech half marathon in Prague, Czech Republic.
The former world half marathon champion led an all Kenyan podium sweep in 1-2-3-4-5-6 position with Brenda Jepleting, Dorcas Kimeli, Edith Chelimo, Sheila Chepkurui and Vibian Chepkirui in that order.
The half marathon queen won in 65:34 with Jepleting (67:07), Kimeli (64:14), Chelimo (67:16), Chepkirui (67:37) and Chepkirui 67:39.
