Posta Rangers has hired the services of John Kamau as the head coach replacing Sammy Omolo who’s contract expired on Monday 31st.
Kamau relinquishes his technical director’s role at the club and returns to the dugout for a second spell having served as Posta’s coach in 2015.
Omolo’s assistant George Maina has also left the club and his place has been taken by former Posta captain Pascal Ochieng. Another ex Rangers player, Edward Kauka has returned to the club as a trainer.
“Their contacts (Omolo and Maina) expired today and as a club we have to move forward. We will review their performance later but in the meantime we have a new team in place. Kamau will be the head coach, Pascal will assist him while Wakhu will remain the team manager. We have brought Kauka back as the trainer while Ruto will train our keepers. I think it’s a strong technical bench that will lead this team to success, “chairman John Tonui told Soka.
Kamau’z first assignment will be against AFC Leopards on Wednesday 2nd January 2019 in Nakuru.
