Champions KCB, Kabras Sugar and Nakuru were the winners of the second round of Kenya Cup matches played across the country.
The bankers struggled to beat Kenya Harlequins 32-35 in a match played at RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi after coming from a 6-22 down at the break but the experienced worked their way to register their second win in a row Blak Blad fixture next week with Quins heads to Western to face other high flying Kabras Sugar.
The sugar millers took it easy to stun newcomers Strathmore Leos in 9-35 to Kabras at Impala for another win of the season.
Leos, just like Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) are getting it rough in the league following their propmotion.
As Leos lost their second match, their counterparts MMUST went down 23-10 to former champions Nakuru RFC at Nakuru Athletics Club.
Blak Blad and Menengai Oilers played to a 12-12 draw in the second round in the first match at the RFUEA Grounds.
