KCB FC part ways with coach Patrick Odhiambo

Kenya Premier league side KCB FC has parted ways with head coach Patrick Odhiambo, his assistant Coach Jeffer Odongo as well as fitness trainer Eric Muranda, effective immediately.

Goalkeeping Coach Samuel Koko Okoth will assume interim responsibility for the team for the remaining two matches of the 2024/25 FKF Premier League season.

In a statement from the club chairman Bramwel Simiyu, read: “We have had mutual discussions with the Coach and the two assistants. We want to inject fresh impetus into the team to finish strong and prepare for the next season.”

“KCB Football remains a crucial part of the KCB brand’s sporting platform. With that said, it’s imperative for us to take stock of where we are as we position ourself more strongly for the future. We have an ambition to win the league and to sustain such a performance over the years,” he added.

The team is currently sitting in 9th place on the league table with 41 points from 32 matches played.

KCB will host Nairobi City Stars on 10th June before finishing off the season with an away match against AFC Leopards on 15th June 2025.
