Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) actions returns this week at Nyanza Club, in the lakeside city of Kisumu following last weekend’s international break for Tanzania Open held at Kiligolf Resort, Tanzania.

The Nyanza Open golf championship was postponed last month due to international assignments is part of the KAGC series, referred to as “Hippo Pot.”
Kenya Golf Union (KGU) Chairman Richard Wanjala announced that the meeting will be staged on the weekend of 18th and 19th.
Speaking in Eldoret during the awarding ceremony of Manchester salver golfers, Wanjala said there is need for the event to take place.
“Following the postponement of Nyanza event because of international meetings, you great golfers will be travelling to Nyanza for the events on the weekend of 18th and 19th of November,” said Wanjala.
Nyanza Club captain Sammy Deya said will be leading other home golfers on Saturday.
Fresh from winning Tanzania Open Golf Championships, top of the table golfer Edwin Mudanyi will be seeking to extend his table leadership with two meetings remaining-Uhuru Shield and Nyali Open.
