Kenya Cup defending champions Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) and Kabras Sugar unbeaten run continued on the day 7 as both teams registered big wins today.
Top of the table KCB hosted Kenya Harlequins and did not disappoint home fans as they walloped their visitors 43-17 in tough encounter.
Peter Karia opened the try score that was converted by Darwin Mikidza with converting before shooting in a penalty.
Peter Waitere also went past the white wash that Mukidza converted for a 22-0 lead for the hosts.
On return, Curtis Lilako made the fourth try that was converted by Michael Wanjala as Quins Isaac Asimov made unconverted try for a 29-05 lead.
Nick Ong’eri extended the lead for the hosts with his try before Patrice Agunda’s try was converted by Aaron Oforywoth for Quins to make it 34-12.
Shaban Ahmed added his name on the score sheet converted by Edward Oseko for a 43-17 win.
Kabras on the other side was too good for their hosts Impala Saracens, shining with33-17.
Kelly Kabole was the first to make a try for Sugar Millers followed by Max Adaka’s converted try by Kevin Keegan for 12-0 lead at the break.
