As Kenya Hockey League enters homestretch, Kenya Police and Telkom have an added advantage to win the 2017/2018 men and women titles respectively from a lengthy break.
The league, which resumes tomorrow, will see police, currently leading the table with 70 points from 25 matches (winning 23, drawing one and losing one) and 18 points adrift of their opponents Green Sharks. Butali sugar, the 2015 champions have 52 points with 7 matches unplayed.
A single win for Police in the remaining three matches will earn them a title. Come this weekend, they will face Kenyatta University (KU)-Vultures on Saturday and Wazalendo on Sunday.
Technical University of kenya (TUK) are already with 22 points relegated while Vultures are on the verge
Telkom will be targeting a record 20 titles when they face Multimedia University on Sunday at City Park. Telkom has won 17 matches as they match to defend their title.
