Kenya won bronze at the concluded International Tennis Federation (ITF)/Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) at the African Junior competition in Maputo, Mozambique.
The team made up of Seline Ahoya, Nancy Kawira and Liya Gikunda defeated Mozambique 3-0 for bronze.
They started with a 3-0 loss to Tunisia, went ahead to beat Ghana 2-1 and Namibia 3-0 before suffering a 2-1 to Zimbabwe.
Kenya qualified for the African contest by winning at the East African Zonals held in Rwanda.
