Kenya won bronze at the concluded All Africa Golf Championships that came to an end at the El Goune Golf Club in Cairo, Egypt.
It was a bad day for team Kenya that is captained by Dennis Maara, John Lejirma, Adel Balala and Michael Karanga in the 72- hole tournament that teed off on Wednesday with Kenya closing the tournament with a total of ten under 854 ahead of Tunisia.
Morocco defeated the defending champions to win the title on 44 under par 820 gross to lead South Africa with eight shots to become the first country to beat since 2001.
Kenya team’s Balala shot a total of seven under par with 71, 72, 71 and 67.
