kenya Women Premier League: Come, raise funds for Eldoret Falcons

Eldoret Falcons, the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) is appealing to football lovers and well wishers across the country to come together and raise money that  will help the team honour the remaining matches in the league.

Coming from Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, the team plays in Zone B side of the KWPL, will be staging the fund raising drive on Wednesday October 4th at Highlands Inn Hotel in Eldoret.

The Joshua Ariko led charges is in fourth position with 10 points from 9 matches played in 7-team league, has been having a kshs 100 weekly contribution from fans that has helped them honour away matches for the last 17 weeks.

Operating without a sponsor, the team has been facing financial crisis hence calling for such assistance. That has made the team encounter difficulties to play out of Eldoret but luckily, the teamhas never failed to travel.

Ariko in his statement since last week has been using friends on whatsapp to raise awareness wrote: “It is our prayer that this message will find you well. Eldoret falcons ladies football club would like to invite you to their fundraising to enable them finish their remaining premier league matches on 4th October 2017 at highlands inn hotel Eldoret  from 4pm.  We pray for you as you prepare to come be blessed.”

To avoid being expelled from the league just like Nyamira Starlets and Baringo Starlets for failing to honour away matches, come and support the youthful team and raise football standards especially women in North Rift.
