Kenya’s 3×3 team to leave for Africa championships

Twelve 3×3 players are set to leave the country on Thursday ahead of the Nations League Northern that will be held in Algeria over the weekend.

The six ,men and six women teams, which have been training at the Nyayo stadium will depart for the championships that kicks off on July 28th to August 3rd.

The teams have been undergoing training at the Nyayo Stadium for the last two weeks in preparation for the week-long tournament.

The Eunice Ouma side will be facing off with Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Benin where the top team from the tournament will qualify for the World Cup and World Championships to be held in Poland and Mongolia respectively in September.

Men: Koja Denis, Timothy Oyoo, Brans Nzioka, Jack Waweru, Elisha Ojwang, and Ziruel Gichana; WomenMarry Ann Wanjiku, Medina Okot, Ashley Minayo, Lisa Omondi, Nerea Margaret and Alexendra Juma.; Coach: Eunice Ouma.
