Harambee Starletrs, the national women soccer team has landed bigwigs at the Africa Women Cup of Nations (WAFCON) set for March and April in Morocco.
The Beldine Odemba coached side will be facing off with hosts Morocco, Senegal and Algeria in pool A encounter when WAFCON starts on March 17th to April 2nd following the draw that was conducted today at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat.
With increased number of teams from 12-16, Starlets is returning into the continental football extravaganza since 2016.
Former champions, 2022 South Africa will be tackling Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Tanzania in Group B as reigning champions Nigeria will take on Zambia, Egypt and debutants Malawi in pool C while Ghana will face Cameroon, Mali and debutants Cape Verde in group D.
