Kenya’s Daisy Kimeli and Moroccan international Omar Ait Chitachem were crowned the champions of today’s Bogota Half marathon in Colombia.
Kimeli won the women title in 75:13 ahead of Ethiopia’s Anchialem Haymanot (75:36) Colombia’s Angie Orjuela (75:43)
She edged out the defending champion Angela Tanui, who missed the podium.
In men, Chitachen defeated defending champion Edwin Soi for the title.
Chitachem won the title in 63:51 followed by Kenya’s Ezra Tanui and Soi finished second and third in respective in 64:50 and 64:56.
