Phanuel Kipkosgei and Diana Chepkemoi were the winners of the International Schools Sports Federation (ISF) World Cross Country for School under 18 titles held today at the Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi.
A form three student at the Saramek Secondary won the 3.4km distance in 10:49.8 leading Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) 1,500m champion Mary Nyaboke, a form three student at St Peters’ Keberesi Secondary school to second in 10:51.4 as Dorcas Chepkwemoi , a form Three, St Francis Kongit completed the podium after timing 10:53.4 for an all podium sweep.
Chepkemoi said that the race was good and winning means a lot after good preparations.
Kipkosgei won the under 18 boys title to cement his top position and the form three student at St Francis Kimuron in Elgeyo marakwet County won the 5.1km title …. ahead of….and… for podium positions.
