Olympic Games 1,500m champion Faith Kipngetich Kipyegon and world 800m bronze medalist Ferguson Rotich will be the only Kenyan runners in 1,000m and 800m respectively at the Friday’s Diamond League in Monaco, France.
Kipyegon, the world 1,500m silver medalist will be chasing the title in the coronavirus period alongside Polish international Sofia Ennouui, Uganda’s duo of Halimah Makaayiand Winnie Nanyondo.
Rotich. who enjoys his personal best of 1:42.54 will be up against French international Mameibra Anne in the two lap race.
