Kirui optimistic as Tannahill Shield in launched at Royal

The annual Tannahill Shield golf tournament was launched today ahead of the event set for next month.

Popularly called the Easter Weekend golf tournament, the event has attracted top corperates slated for April 15^th to 17^th at the Royal Nairobi golf club.

Hos captain Stanley Kirui said that a total of nine clubs or teams namely Royal Nairobi, Mombasa, Muthaiga, Sigona, Vet Lab, Limuru, Karen, Kenya Railway Golf Club, and a Western combined team have confirmed their participation.

The Tannahill tournament is the brainchild of Major Arthur Tannahill and was inaugurated in 1924 as an annual event.
