Samuel Kapen has joined Nairobi City Stars from second-tier side Kibera Black Stars ahead of Kenya Premier League season.
Kopen, who signed a one year deal will lead Simba Wa Nairobi in the Striking force and will be putting on jersey number 22.
Team Coordinator Samson Otieno said: “Our scouting team kept a close eye on Kapen while he was in the NSL and he comes highly recommended to the big stage. We welcome him on board.”
The club has already signed Migori Youth defensive midfielder and skipper Clifford Ouma, 22, and central midfielder Newton Ochieng from third-tier side Vapor Sports
At the same time, defensive midfielder Ronney Kola believes his time has come, and a good season is in the offing.
The budding spoiler is the only Nairobi City Stars player that failed to clock a game in the 2021-22 FKF Premier League season due to injury.
The former Kenya School of Government (KSG) player has since recovered fully after undergoing rehabilitation and is now rearing to go.
