Felix Korir and Edwin Kimosong qualified to run in the finals of 3,000m at the ongoing world under 20 championships in Cali, Colombia.
Korir won in heat one in 7:58.12 ahead of Uganda’s Dan Kibet (7:59.71) and Ethiopia’s Melkeneh Azize settled for the second position in 8:00.37.
Kimosong won in heat two by clocking 7:55.60, edging out Eritrea’s Habtom Samuel to second position in 7:56.70 while Ethiopia’s Dirima Girma settled for the third position in 7:57.16.
The finals of the men’s 3,000m are set for Saturday 1:04
