KRU Championships: Top teams seek points

It will an all university affair when University of Eldoret (UOE) Trojans hosts Jomo Kenyatta University Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) will host to in the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) championships.

In another Eldoret encounter, Moi University main campus will host Ngong Wariors in the same cadre this weekend.

Trojans, who last lost their home match at the University’s Pavilion will be seeking to use home advantage as promotion to Kenya Cup hots up.

Menengai Oilers, who are currently leading the table, will travel to the coastal town of at Ukunda to play against South Coast Pirates.

After losing their first match against Western Bulls, Oilers will be seeking to redeem their image as they keep up their campaign for home semifinal qualification and eventual promotion to next season’s top tier Kenya Cup.

United States International University (USIU) will clash with other university side Egerton Wasps in Kasarani. Fresh from beating table leaders Oilers, Western Bulls will travel to Nairobi and face Catholic Monks.

Kisumu will host to three time Kenya Cup champions Mean Machine at the ASK Mamboleo Show-ground in Kisumu.
