KVF unveils final under 20 squad for Africa Nations under 20 championships

The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) has announced the final Kenya U20 Men’s Volleyball Team ahead of the CAVB African Nations Under 20 Championship set for Cairo, Egypt.

The federation named the final 12 players who will represent the country at the upcoming 2025 African Nations U-20 Men’s Volleyball Championship, set for 11th – 21st September in Cairo, Egypt.

 The selection process was marked by stiff competition, especially in the middle blocker and outside hitter positions where several talented players were in contention.

The team will departs for Cairo later this week, carrying the aspirations of the nation as they seek to make a mark at the continental championships.

Speaking after the selection, Team Manager Wachira Gatuiria expressed confidence in the squad’s readiness, noting that the players have shown resilience, determination, and strong team spirit during training.

“We are confident that these young men will represent the country with pride and showcase the great potential of Kenya’s volleyball future. The team is in high spirits and motivated to give their very best in Cairo” he said.

The team departs for Cairo later this week, carrying the aspirations of the nation as they seek to make a mark at the continental championship.
