Leaders APS Bomet and Fortune maintained their positions ahead of promotion

Leaders Administration Police Services (APS) Bomet and Fortune Sacco have kept their winning ways as they fight for an automatic promotion to Kenya premier League.

Yesterday, Erick Juma’s strike Bomet maximum National Super league (NSL) points while Sacco registered 1-0 over Murang’a Seal.

The 55th minute goal was enough for a 1-0 win for APS Bomet against former KPL side Shabana with the win earning the leaders 63 points to lead second-placed Fortune Sacco with three points on 60 who will play Murang’a Seal on Sunday.

But losers Shabana have a mountain to climb in promotion as they lie 5th on 53 points.

At Camp Toyoyo, Kibera Black Stars were 3-1 winners against Kisumu All Stars.

In other matches, Migori Youth defeated Mombasa Elite 4-0 with Mwatate United beating Muhoroni Youth 3-1 at Wundanyi Stadium.

Today, hosts SS Assad beat Mara Sugar 2-0 at the Shamu as Abdallah Mdeka scored the two goals.
