Strathmore university Rugby team, the Leos and Masinde Murilo University of Science and Technology (MMUST) have qualified for the Kenya Cup encounter following their semifinal victory at the KRU Championships.
Leos defeated Northern Suburbs at the Strathmore University ground while MMUST edged out former Kenya Cup champions Nairobi University side Mean machine. Leos thrashed Machine 23-06 in the all university encounter as MMUST, using home advantaged beat Machine 21-12 in one of the fiercest encounter.
