The NCBA Gold Series will this Saturday at the Limuru Country Club for the thirteenth leg where over 200 golfers are expected to tee off grand final at the Muthaiga Golf Club on 9th December.
The winners of the national grand finale will travel to Fan Court Golf Estate in South Africa.
So far, 36 players from previous events have qualified for the ultimate tournament and comprise the tournaments’ Division One, Division Two, Division Three, and the Ladies’ category winners.
Speaking ahead of the event, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora noted:
“We are delighted to be taking the series to Limuru once again. So far the series has seen the participation of over 1800 golfers which is a very encouraging feat. As a bank, golf provides us with an opportunity to understand our customer’s needs and preferences. We look forward to the tournament as it will also provide us an opportunity to meet existing and potential customers from the region.”
The event follows the twelfth leg of the series that was played at VetLab Sports Club a fortnight ago where home player James Kimani claimed the Division One victory at the event with a round of 42 points.
In the second division, Manoj Shanker carded a round of 43 points, two better than Grace Wanjohi, to claim the top spot in the category while Kozue Oba claimed the third division.

Karen and Serena hosted two of the series’ three junior golf events with the final junior tournament set to be held on 3rd-4th December at Muthaiga Golf Club
