Kenyan Charles Mbatha Matata and Ethiopian Anchinalu Dessie Genaneh were the winners of yesterday’s Leo Lion half marathon held in France.
The Kenyan won the men’s title in 1:01.34 followed by country mate Vincent Kipkorir Kigen (1:02.21) and Ethiopian Getachew Masresha Kidie (1:02.23).
In the women’s Genaneh won the title at 1:08.16 ahead of Kenyan Betty Chepkemboi Kibet (1:09.33) and Vivian Chepkemei Melly of Kenya completing the podium positions in 1:09.59.
